What To Bring

Please consider dedicating half of your luggage to bringing over donations and care packages for long-term missionaries who work with CORM.

Make sure you pack anything valuable (money, travel documents, credit cards) in your carry-on bag as well as an extra set of clothes in case of the occasional incidence of lost luggage.

You will need to bring along a towel and twin-size bed sheets. Please consider leaving these items behind when you leave.

Clothing

~We dress in a way that is acceptable and modest in Ghanaian culture.

~Men may wear pants/trousers or shorts and T-shirts or button-up shirts.

~Women may wear pants, knee-length shorts, capri pants, and skirts or dresses below the knee. Women should plan on wearing only skirts or loose pants outside of the CORM Children’s Village.  Please do not bring thin-strapped tank tops, tube tops (unless worn with a jacket that covers shoulders), and those bearing the midriff.

~Please bring along dress clothes for church and other special occasions.

~The weather is warm to hot year-round. In July and August, the early mornings and evenings are cooler – you will want to bring a light sweater or jacket for this season.

~When traveling outside of the CORM Children’s Village, we ask that piercings (other than earrings in females) be removed or covered with band-aids.
